Past And Present

Past -
“Think it’s possible?”
“Frankly Andy,  the skull is too small  to be human.”
“Request Brown to create a new branch. Lucy*  will soon be passe.”

*Lucy as in Hominin of whom only one species - homosapiens (us) survives

Present -
Hammering talks of Pattinson’s hair everywhere
Swear never has anyone else been discussed threadbare.
Can understand a hyper, emotional teen,
But an older  woman screaming, a disturbing scene.
If omelettes were to be his tingle,
A vegan’s wife will soon be single.

Good ones. Love "the skull is too small to be human." I don't know, I've known some pretty small minds. LOL

Thanks for playing Succinctly Yours.

These are brilliant. As an armchair anthropologist the first one caught my eyes, but when I saw what you did with this week’s photo prompt, I bowed in homage.

I’m loving the Week 42 Rally! Here’s mine: http://kmcgeepoet.wordpress.com/2011/04/20/warning-lights/

Nice :)) In the "Past" we used to have interesting, entertaining and engaging discussions, but now... Whatever happened to mind-your-own-business or be-yourself or read-a-damn-book?!
Love it! Haven't expected a prompt like this. Original! Again, love it!

Glad you made it this far...would love to hear your take on the words scribbled. A comment every now and then keeps the blues away. :D

Since, crazy Mr. Blogspot won't let me reply to the comments here (is upset with the water ladies ever since they refused to verify visitors)...will do the next best thing, drop in to your blog to say my Vanakkam/Namaste/Salaam/Hello.
